You must have an active GWC student ID (formatted as C0#######) before you can register for an Information Session.

2. Program Structure & Attendance Rules

Standard Track (45 Seats)

16-Week Duration

  • 1 class per week (10 hours)
  • Theory Classes: Saturdays
  • Clinical Classes: Fridays or Saturdays

Accelerated Track (15 Seats)

8-Week Duration

  • 2 classes per week (10 hours each)
  • Theory Classes: Tuesdays & Thursdays
  • Clinical Classes: Tuesdays & Thursdays

⚠️ Strict Attendance & Dismissal Policies

To meet state certification requirements, absences are not permitted. Attendance at all theory and clinical hours is mandatory.

  • Dismissal: Missing clinical hours or theory classes results in immediate program dismissal.
  • Lateness: Two instances of lateness equal one absence. Students over 5 minutes late will be dismissed.
  • Communication: Failure to respond to time-sensitive program emails will result in dismissal.

4. Mandatory Information Session

Attendance is required for the CNA application process. During the session, you will complete Reading and Math Assessments (CASAS) and submit your formal program application.
Required for the Session: GWC Student ID (C0#######), SSN/ITIN, and active MyCoast credentials.
