MelRo Potter is a Lived Experience Ambassador who grew up in the foster care system in Washington. Guided by the belief that we are not defined by our experiences, but by who we choose to become, MelRo has dedicated her life to inspiring and empowering others.

Through her work as a speaker, trainer, and founder of MelRo’s Foundation, she uses her voice and “inner light” to uplift individuals whose voices are often unheard and whose light has been dimmed. MelRo is committed to creating meaningful change by shining a light on the foster care system and advocating for those it serves.
