Join your Umoja family for a day of culture, connection, and inspiration! We’re heading to the California African American Museum in Exposition Park to explore the stories, art, and history that define the Black experience in the West.
This isn’t just a field trip—it’s an "Indaba" on the move. It’s a chance to get off campus, see ourselves reflected in the galleries, and build community with your fellow scholars.

Check-in Time: 10am-10:30am (Don’t be late—the bus leaves at 10:40am!)
Meeting Spot: In front of Learning Resource Center
Cost:FREE for Umoja students.
Transportation: Round-trip bus ride to Exposition Park.
The Experience: Full access to all CAAM galleries and exhibits.
Food: Lunch is provided by Black Owned Restaurant
