Your Voice, Your Rights: From Speaking Up to Creating Change

Join us for a Constitution Day conversation featuring Tiana Day, whose journey into advocacy began with seeing a need in her community and recognizing that, as a young person, she had both the right and responsibility to speak up. A nationally recognized youth activist, Tiana has advocated for Black Lives Matter, racial equity, women’s rights, and youth empowerment, including organizing a peaceful march across San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge that drew more than 50,000 people. Grounded in the First Amendment, Tiana will share how she turned her voice into action through peaceful assembly, public advocacy, community mobilization, and organizing. Students will explore how their constitutional rights can become tools for creating meaningful change in their own communities—and leave inspired and equipped with practical strategies to advocate, build support, and take action.
