In this session you will learn "Why Our College’s Campus Culture Matters” as well as different strategies that can be implemented in our classrooms, departments, and the college campus at large to support our students of undocumented and mixed status.

Together we will explore the following topics:

Equity beyond a status: An anthropological look at undocumented students.
Standardizing language and terminology for prepared California education systems.
Importance of immigrant student success for communities and for California.
Common pitfalls and barriers to immigrant student equity.
Interdepartmental synergy key to student success.
