Course Roster(s): New name will appear on instructor(s) on-line class roster(s). Student is responsible in informing the instructor of the name change.
Financial Aid recipients: Notify the Financial Aid Office of name change.

If your Name is incorrect on our records from an error on your application, or if your name has changed, you may experience difficulty in receiving transcripts or credit for your earned units, degrees or certificates.
Your Name of Record must match the name on your Government Issued Photo ID. You may not list a nickname or alias as your Name of Record.
You must include the correct previous full name. You can view the previous full name that we have on record on MyGWC.com. These changes or corrections cannot be made on your portal.
If you have a Preferred name that you want to use, do not use this section. Please select "Preferred Name Change" above to update your preferred name. Additionally, you can edit your student account to reflect your Preferred Name by logging in to your student account, clicking on the Student tab, and opening the folder under Banner Self-Service: Preferred Name Change.
